I am associated with Stammbar, a venue known for its electronic music scene, operating under the name F6R2E6D. As a DJ, my focus lies in tech house, disco, and indie music genres. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing in various clubs and events, sharing my love for music with diverse audiences.
Beyond my role as a DJ, I’m also passionate about mixology. I’ve undergone formal training in this craft, allowing me to excel in creating unique and delightful drinks. Exploring new spirits, experimenting with fresh ingredients, and crafting original cocktails are aspects of this art that bring me joy, enhancing the experience for my guests.
My work in the nonprofit sector guides and inspires me to open Stammbar to a audience less familiar with spaces associated with sexual consumption. Diversity and inclusion are core principles evident in both our team and the bar’s philosophy. These approaches have led to encounters with individuals from various backgrounds who have found a place within our community, while we, in turn, adapt to their diverse experiences.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I actively participate in the LGBTQ+ community in Brussels. Advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, I engage with various associations that promote diversity, inclusion, and equality. I firmly believe in the importance of visibility and representation to foster a more inclusive and equal world for all.
As the owner of Stammbar, my goal is to create a space that is welcoming and inclusive, where everyone can freely express their true identity. Through my involvement in the LGBTQ+ community and my expertise in mixology, I organize special events and craft thematic cocktails to support LGBTQ+ causes and promote diversity.
