DJ and producer Wouter de Moor is one of those guys who conquer the world with a smile.
Labeled by many as the ideal son in law, known by his direct circle as a person of unlimited
energy, drive and enthusiasm for dance music in all its forms and with all its side-effects, he
creates a very decent house tune himself which shows when one inspects his discography. In
2016, he launches his MOOR alias in attempt to make a clearer split between his different musical
aspirations. MOOR stands for the deep techno output.
The list of releases is now growing at a steady pace with tracks on various big labels. From
Cocoon, Ovum, Pokerflat, Rejected, Get Physical, Amsterdam’s Bla Bla and Remote Area, to 90
Watts and Paco Osuna’s Spanish Mindshake, as Wouter de Moor, he now releases on Ovum as
MOOR, and enters the studio with his mentor Sterac to co-produce music as Sterac vs MOOR.
Naturally this has lead to a packed DJ agenda with gigs not only all over the Netherlands, but in
Argentina, Mexico, Italy, Turkey, South Korea, China, Spain, Ibiza, Berlin and the very special
festival Fusion in Germany as well.
The combination of unstoppable appetites for technical improvement and musical development
and an open-minded attitude has obviously made him a favorite among those who like to dance
all over the world and seem to be setting him up for a long-lasting career!
