Balance is a curious thing.
We spend most of our days trying to maintain it. Standing straight, keeping control, following the rhythm expected of us. But on a dancefloor, balance becomes something else entirely.
A body leans too far, catches itself, changes direction. A step arrives half a second too early and suddenly becomes a new movement. What might look awkward anywhere else becomes completely natural once the music takes over.
Perhaps dancing has never been about knowing what to do. Perhaps it begins precisely when we stop trying to do it correctly.
That is where the pleasure lies: in allowing the body to surprise us. In discovering that losing control does not always mean falling. Sometimes it simply means finding another way to move.
Thom LeBlanc understands that delicate point between elegance and abandon. His sets move through warm house, playful grooves and timeless selections with enough freedom for everyone to find their own balance — or happily forget about it altogether.
So lean a little further than usual.
The music might catch you.
