CHAMPAGNE GH MUMM BLANC DE BLANCS

Mumm Blanc de Blancs is a rare cuvée. Created in 1882, it was for a long time reserved for the directors and friends of the House. It is only since 2008 that this cuvée is marketed in limited quantities in the wine shops and on the tables of the greatest Chefs.

Made only from Chardonnay from the terroir of Cramant, in the Côte des Blancs, it is a cuvée with a unique personality.

Its elaboration is particular in order to direct it towards creamy and unctuous nuances.

Mumm Blanc de Blancs is distinguished by a very pure, luminous robe with slightly green reflections. Its bubbles are extremely fine.

On the nose, it is a champagne that offers notes of fragrant white flowers, lemon and fresh fruit.

On the palate, Mumm Blanc de Blancs has a delicate and subtle attack, marked by a beautiful chalky texture. It is a full and unctuous mouth, marked by slightly spicy aromas, a champagne with a silky texture. The finish is rich and expressive.

Maison Mumm has been an innovating force of change in the making of champagne since its beginnings in 1827, when it became the first House to install presses directly in the vineyards to extract juice of the highest quality. This avant-garde vision is rooted in an uncompromising relationship with quality, summarized by Georges Hermann Mumm’s motto: “Nec Plus Ultra” (“Only the Best”).

Mumm’s quest for excellence originated on the Montagne de Reims, in Verzenay, a Grand Cru-classified village famed for its Pinot Noir. For nearly two hundred years, the House has been continually exploring new methods with which to reveal the essence of this grape, whose powerful, rich and fruity nature has become a signature of Mumm’s distinctive style.
