Formerly a rum bar, Crazy Circle is a cozy establishment in Ixelles that underwent a transformation in 2019 when it was taken over by Laïla and Axelle, a couple of women. Their goal was to turn it into a lesbian and feminist bar, welcoming the LGBTQI+ community and their friends.
Crazy Circle is a designated “safe space,” embracing diversity and providing a platform for women and queer artists. It’s a place to enjoy a reasonably priced beer or a delicious cocktail while engaging in various activities like concerts, DJ nights, karaoke, cabaret, exhibitions, board games, and foosball.
The venue collaborates with numerous LGBTQ+ organizations (Rainbowhouse, L-Tour, EGOW, Activ’elles, MATCH, …) and takes the lead in the weekly “Femme Jam,” the only jam session in Brussels with a 100% female stage.
