Established in 2010, Straffe Ketten RFC stands as Belgium’s premier and exclusive fully inclusive rugby club, proudly affiliated with the International Gay Rugby (IGR). The club actively engages in diverse competitions and friendly matches, both domestically and internationally, driven not only by a shared passion for rugby but also by a collective commitment to fostering inclusivity within the sport. Their overarching objective is to provide every individual in Belgium with an equitable opportunity to experience rugby within a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment.
Reflecting the cosmopolitan nature of Brussels, Straffe Ketten RFC’s membership comprises individuals from around the globe. With a current roster of 70 registered members representing over 20 nationalities, the club is a diverse community drawn from various societal backgrounds, encompassing diverse ages and body types. As an inclusive rugby club, they celebrate and embrace diversity in terms of sexual orientations, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all.
